Caroline graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Honours Standing in Economics, having received a 4-year Entrace Scholarship. She graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1993 and received the S.J. Bimbaum Scholarship – First Prize upon her call to the Bar in 1995.
