Emily joined Evans, Philp upon her call to the bar in 2018, having previously summered and articled with the firm. She has practiced in both tort and accident benefits, and now defends a variety of tort litigation claims including motor vehicle accidents, Occupier’s Liability, property damage, medical malpractice and professional negligence matters.

Emily received her Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario in 2017. She holds a BHSc and an MSc and has published her research regarding Alzheimer’s disease.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family. She is a proud supporter of Able Sail SHYC, a program in Hamilton that enables individuals with physical and developmental disabilities to enjoy the freedom of sailing.
